Over the past few weeks, hemp business owners have passionately advocated against a proposed bill by the Florida Legislature to regulate hemp-derived products in a way that would damage their businesses. On Monday, those business owners experienced a huge victory in that the sponsor of the latest version of the bill removed any references to capping the amount of THC allowable in hemp products. While the bill still contains certain safety requirements, largely to keep hemp-derived products like Delta-8 THC out of the hands of minors, Florida hemp business owners can breathe a sigh of relief for the time being.
